Flitősa-Tӓnmăǝ

When there was nothing else, there were three beings drifting in the void. Three lights in the dark: Flitósa-Tanmăǝ (flih-TOH-sah / tahn-MAY-ah).

“Early mortals first mistook the stars for gods themselves. When the gods revealed themselves to mortals the name was not much changed. Thus Dümǝzid, Kéfrē, and Mőrdét adopted the collective name of Lights in the Dark, or Flitósa-Tanmăǝ in celestial. In truth, the gods are older than the stars themselves.

Dümǝzid

(DOO-muh-zihd)
God of beginnings and creation.
Ever curious and never still, Dümǝzid is the industry of the cosmos. Dümǝzid churns life into the universe, always at the start of things.

Kéfrē

(KEH-free)
God of light and warmth, the stars and the sun.
Kéfrē birthed the stars, beginning the rest. Through the toils of gods, Kéfrē assures the next sun will always come.

Mőrdét

(mohr-DEHT)
God of consumption and death.
As Dümǝzid creates, so Mőrdét destroys and lays the scales of the Eꞇērēǝm even. Mőrdét is always at the end of things.

Cemünꞇél

(seh-moon-THEL)

“These divine soldiers have been given many names. Theologians worship them as Origin Gods, scholars study them as demi-gods, but to Flitősa-Tӓnmăǝ they are children and so many call them ‘Cemünꞇél,’ meaning ‘children of the gods’ in celestial. [...]

“When the first of Cemünꞇél’s ranks fell to the giants, Dümǝzid wept for they knew not of their own hands. Their blood became rivers of new things even Dümǝzid had not foreseen, as mortal life rose from their children’s ashes.”
