Themes
Rise of the Damned is more than the name of this realm. The overt reference to the undead yields to a greater theme of mortals rising above adversity to breathtaking heights. At the heart of the Eꞇērēǝm are stories of mortals realizing their power and finding their voice in the cacophony of existence, against all odds. Through these stories we discover intrinsic truths:
Absolute power is a lie.
Morality is malleable.
Mortality is a gift.
To be mortal is to be damned. An entity that recognizes its own damnation is a terrifying thing; it rises to inflict the fullest of itself upon the instance.
